THINK TWICE BEFORE SAVING LIFE

The court in California ruled that a good Samaritan can be sued. One woman was trapped in a car finally sued the man who saved her life saying that she would be better of if nobody came to save her. The ruling made people start to think whether it is worth to save life. In this case the man was honest and sincere.

Once I had had an accident in Kuala Lumpur. My wallet with RM400-/ went missing probably taken by someone who came to pick me up. Recently there was an outcry that the people from the relief squad went looting.

However if you are trapped in your drowned car surely you wouldn't care whoever at all to come to your help. Your life is more important than your money and property. But with the court ruling the Californians will have to think twice. If similar case happens in Malaysia what decision would the court make ?

In the modern world value system has changed. Many people don’t know what is shame. What was seen as immoral before is now legal and acceptable. Occasionally you notice sex acts in public. What was accepted as bad is now seen as good and normal.

To those who still hold and believe in traditional value would say there is an array of mental distortion among modern people.

One day nobody will care seeing dead people on the road. Today we already see that nobody cares to help the victims of robbery or more so when seeing people fighting using weapons.” I mind my own business. “ That’s what the judge was trying to say “Just mind your own business.”

MY POLITICAL FOE

I saw and detest one UMNO teacher who always sneak out of schools and neglect the students. He was reported by the student for not teaching them. We call it 'Makan Gaji Buta'. When PAS took over Kedah, I was told of a PAS man who cheated his attendance. In Malay we called it 2 times 5.6

Looking at any party I have to analyze it's behavior and intention; how much lies it threw out on people, how promises were not met, how arrogant the leaders are and how corrupt they are. Attacking the corrupt behavior and the lie factor sometimes may hit the party like attacking enemies which end up in the bombing of building they are in.

Party members should dare to speak out on anything which are against their principles and on things which are not citizen’s friendly . They must not think they have the best brain in the world. I have been observing on one policy which has not change during the days of Tunku till Mahathir but changed during Pak Lah. The Minister concern was so adamant and thought he was right. Policy during Tunku’s took account of the meeting and discussions of university teachers and other non-political persons. If the same Minister is in some other political party, he would have caused the same disaster. He thinks everyone is as rich as he is.

I have a PAS, DAP and UMNO friends. We joke about each other, blasting each other’s political party. I don’t reject friendship base on party but I would avoid people who has pride at himself when corrupting public officers, dishonest in their work like doing false claim, do not discharge their duty well and showing the sombong attitude. I believe not only me who loath such people.

Just look around, we can recognize who is our friend and who is our foe.  ATAS

JUST BECAUSE I HAVE POWER

The picture above is showing a section of KLIA. It is the departure hall on the fifth floor. What's wrong with it ? There were no chairs around the TV screens. My wife and I had to catch 8.20 pm flight. I asked her to follow me to find a place where we can watch TV to pass time. On many occasions when I came back from oversea trip I have to wait for the connecting flight home.

I went to ask a lady at the counter why the chairs were put at a distance and she said it was Malaysia Airport’s work. Certainly the person who made the decision had something in his mind. He had his own reason. To many of us for whatever reason the person concern had made an absurd decision.

This is just one case. There are many other funny cases that had happened at the airport. Remember about the airport staffs stole expensive items like a laptop before ? Just because there is a clause telling the customers not to put expansive items in the luggage, he could them home if he found one. And last time we heard of missing merchandised belonging to factories.

Do you know that illegal immigrants could be smuggled into the country too through the airport ?

To me this is another mental distortion, not mental disorder.

BPR BOSS SAYS NO CASE

On TV1 23/12/2008 the BPR boss said that the investigation has to be closed when there is no case. I looked at the way he said, his body language, his eyes etc. I don't say he is lying neither do I say he is telling the truth. I am just anxious to know what is meant by 'no case'. Does ‘no case’ mean no proof ? Or proof that can be quashed in court ? Take a case of an officer kicking a man in a cell. Just because nobody saw it and the officer denies it, then it comes to the conclusion hat the man was not kicked.

You reported of the cracked structure, of the roads built not following the specifications, of a Puspakom officer accepting money, some will be investigated and some may have the outcome of ‘no case’ because of lack of proofs ? People do not forget of the ‘look like me, sound like me…’story. BPR said no case either. When people sense something fishy and funny, people are being blamed. Last night the media get all the blame.

Throw it to people’s court something like the Pol Pot regime then even minor things will have case. People are talking of BPR being biased. They see it that way from the cases they heard in court proceedings. Some people call it selective persecution.

Who decide whether there is a case or no case ? The BPR boss ? Ghani Patail ? Musa Hassan ? I don’t know. Do you know ? While the nation claimed the greatness of the country and lack of corruption and corrupt practices the world listed us as one of the corrupt countries.

I am sure ‘no case’ means no proof. You can take as long as there is no proof.  What about circumstantial  evidence ? One ordinary person from a kampong suddenly become very rich, owing several houses and cars after working in Puspakom or as a police officer. Where does he get the money ? From his friend ? He strike a Toto ? From his grand mother ? The BPR says ‘no proof’ and therefore ‘no case’.

That is just a small man, not a Menteri  Besar or a Minister.

The BPR has yet to sue a woman who said she was given some money by the BPR in ‘Look like me’ case. I am anxious to witness the court proceedings. It was very interesting when a member of Royal commission asked a BPR officer ‘…of the thousands of name why do you choose the name ?...’ After a long hesitation she finally said ‘Linggam’. Come on. BPR is unbiased ?

Out of 13 million citizens do you think they are all dumb ?

To the  BPR officers and the boss I only have short phrase to say ‘Fear God not men’. On religious officer who always say in his sermon ‘Fear God not men’ finally said ,”I have to follow the order of my boss…” at the wrong instruction against religious teaching.

THE CROOK

If we make ourselves look like a crook, we befriend the crook and behave like a crook then we are the crook. Crooks manipulate public funds openly , usually giving reasons for their actions. They like to make enemy with the people at large. If you had observed Dr Matahir carefully, he would look at the crowd whenever he attended a certain function just to assess his own popularity. But many guys don't. They think they are popular.

In the coming Trengganu by-election the opposition members will try to associate a certain person with a crook in Kuala Lumpur or Negeri  Sembilan. It will be more painful if they are successful in assiciating Toyol with the candidate. To get the support of the people UMNO must clear itself of any crook within the party and police officers or DPP whom people do not see as a normal sincere person. The by-election is not the battle between persons but between money. The theory that money can asks devil to pull the bullock cart for us will be tested here. You cannot pay people to vote for you but you can give money to poor and the needy. For a thousand dollar each to the poor people, it does not reach even a billion. By co-incidence all the people in that area are the category of poverty.

Giving money is not an act that we can call a crook. BUT if the voters see the party members as crooks, perceive them as one then that's when the trouble start. Toyol is one too many. The Kutty, Ghattal and Merican are associated with Benazir Bhutto. And dirty acts of fabrication and trapping the innocence are associated with the party then anything can happen.

To be honest how many crooks and samseng I have seen, there is one that I really hate most right now. Who ? The wicked witch with a broom. A state sinks due to the witch factor. If I were an  Indian, I will never forgive anyone who demolish the holly shrine . And in Trengganu even a mosque had been demolished too.

WHO NEEDS OHMS LAW ?

Radio Amateur used to be a hobby where a person had to construct his own transmitter to send out radio wave. Almost everyone of them ( or called ham ) bought electrical and  electronic  components to build transformers, power supplies, oscillators and antennas . Building a radio was quite complicated. The simplest was the straight receivers.

Main components used were resistors, capacitors, coils and probably rectifiers. The resistor values had to be read using color codes. In designing any electronic circuits the knowledge to compute the voltage drop was mandatory, so they need to know the value of the resistors used.

Old day ham radio communication were on the AM or Amplitude Modulation mode. It was easy to make the AM transmitter especially when it is is used to send morse codes. Eventually they began to filter out the radio carrier to send only the side band signals.

Hence electrical and electronic knowledge was very essential and mandatory. To ensure of the ability in contruction a Radio Amateur Examination was held. And it carries on until today.

But today the whole scenario has changed with the rapid progress of modern technology. Factories are making the radio equipments and sell them at reasonable prices. Some could be considered cheap. These equipments are small in size, light, portable, contain many bands and modes and easy to operate. Almost everyone buys them.

Therefore there is no need for the ham radio operators to know ohms law, resistors, capacitors or any other components. With or without the knowledge everyone can buy the transceivers and operate them. The case is simple. Hence the examination for radio amateur is not relevant these days.

IARU and ITU must look into this carefully and discuss it in the meeting. The whole world should discard the technical aspect of the exam or brush it aside altogether. If a certain kind of control is desired then leave it to each and every nation to decide what form of control and how to exercise it.

Many of you have not seen langsat or dokong trees. Ask your kids about rubber  or durian trees. When I was a little boy I had wanted to see rambutan trees. My neighbor who has a dusun in Gurun took me there. I was very exited riding a train for the first time to Gurun. I remember jumping around when I first saw rambutan and rambai trees. I felt I could sleep there the whole day.

Other than taking your kids to theme parks at Sunway or Genting try taking them to one of the dusun. They will enjoy it and fire you with barrages of questions. Even padi field might be of interest to those who have not seen it.

Buah gorah, buah pumpong, daun mengkuang, pokok pudak, pokok kenanga, pokok kote mamak, pokok nona, keman malu, pokok keladi nd many other specimen of plants are unknown to children and adults because some of us were born and grew up in cities where the trees I mentioned above are not in existence.

A big majority of us have not heard or seen the live udang kepai, a very small udang found in the padi fields. I would mix them with the chillies I am pounding.

We kill trees and our environment in the name of development. The business and the politicians argued in term of economic benefit. I put bluntly its is for their greedy stomachs.

Everybody argues for better life but nobody mention about happier life. In fact we do not need happier life if we are already happy. Happiness is not related to development or material gains. What is the state of happiness of a Penan who has no worry as compare to a person watching a TV ? Think about it deeply.

Trees are beautiful. When they grow together they provide shade,a  good and  healthy environment, bring the peace of mind. They would be sanctuary for animals too.

Try planting a couple of rambutan or durian trees in your small compound. It would be very unfortunate for the flat dwellers. The growth and the history of flats is another sad story, the story if human being and it’s behavior.

Not knowing things is not the end of the world. It does not make us paupers either. It merely leave one empty spot in our mind of something that might be interesting.

Me In London Revisited

Let me tell you what I belive about the English Anglo Saxon British. I would label them just as BR. BR is qietly thinking that God is White and of Anglo Saxon in origin. The whole world outside Britain is dark, ignorance, stupid, babaric and need someone to give them light. True to their thinking that they could conquer most contries far away from the mainland just using a ship, a gun and a pen.

The BR are cunning people and had experience in dealing with France in yesteryears. They do buy their way and win what they want to have. They educate outsiders but not to the extend of making the non BR smarter. I am surprise when I hear some sell Master and PHD degree easy way out to foreigners like the Malaysians, hoping these people could climb high up. Then easy for them to extend their ambitions.

Never trust the BR especially when making business dealings with them. Proton had experience doing business with them. Malaysians were watching to see who was smart and who was stupid. Malaysians have been trying to detach away from Britain on accredition and examination system. We paid them for the recognition of our certificates with a validity period. And there were many more cheatings going on, all done in a smart manner. BR think all the Malaysians are still stupid as before. What more when they observed the behavior of our politicians and people in the judicial system and the police force. Hamid Albar's action on Anwar's case recently, Musa and Patail and various statements made were gauged by them.

When you see a white skin man, you should ask what is his nationality ? If you are certain he is a BR then ask youself 'What is he up to ?'.

HAMAS factor

A few months ago I told my wife HAMAS is finding problems with Israel when they bombed the Israel area continuously. PLO’s philosophy is different from HAMAS. PLO wants negotiation while HAMAS does not want any compromy. HAMAS even went to fight against PLO. The extremist seem to support the HAMAS. As a result more demage and more death are suffered. Anwar Sadat was very much smarter. Egypt finally got the lost land freely within only 5 years.

We should be thankful that Israel does not lost it’s sense. One American Senator called for the bombing of all the Muslim world and our Holy City. Just imagine your kampong is being attacked on and on, are you gong to sit down and bear the sufferings without any action ? Are we keeping the Somali pirates attacking our ships without dong anything ?

Getting something without any fight is very much desirable than a fight. Being called a sissy is nothing as compared to being smart. The British got the whole Malaya without any fight. Fighting using weapons did not bring the Russian Communist down but the non-fighting planning activities that brought it down.

HAMAS can wrestle with PLO and even with other weaker nation state, but attacking Israel is like attacking bee hives with bare hands.

Soon Israel will create a security zone. HAMAS will lose their land. It will be worse than what it is before. Who win and who lose ?  There is always a choice that we could make between peace and war, living in a peaceful life and living in a hell of enmity. This goes to our Malaysians too. Some like to create tension and some not, decission for the whole laymen. We have been living peacefully and happily for a long period. Can't we just stay that way and built a better future for all our generation to come.

ISRAEL INVASION

Why do you think Israel invades Gaza and ignores UN’s order to stop the war ? This time Israel is following the tactic applied by US troops in Iraq ie to do the house to house search for any weapon and to stop once and for all the supply of arms to the HAMAS. No HAMAS will be spared.

The activities and where about of HAMAS has been  scrutinized using satellites and the spy network. The spies could be from the PLO itself. Until the work is done the Israelis will not leave Gaza. Complete independent seems to be almost impossible now.

HAMAS itself is adamant and refuses to accept any truce. May be HAMAS thinks that they are strong enough to fight the enemy.

Once Israel discovered the supplier of the weapons they will start to plan to attack the country. At the moment Iran is the suspect.

Muslims all over the world show their protest against Israel invasion.

Superiority in technology and sound planning is essential in the war today. A bomb can kill thousand of people. Quantity of the army does not count anymore. Anti missile bombers and war planes are being developed and smart bombs are going to the target accurately. HAMAS does not have superiority yet. It is not yet ready for the war.

We all know how powerful is the satellite system. Israel can see the enemy well enough to strike them.

The sufferings must stop. The war must stop too. Many thing could be won thru negotiation. Malaysia get it’s independence thru negotiation too. The PLO-Israeli negotiation had almost come to be fruitful. There is always the concept of ‘win some and lose some’ rather than win nothing at all.

The Israel government has already briefed US of it’s intention both the short and long term operation. It will be there for as long as HAMAS still pose a threat. The target is full elimination of HAMAS whose leader seems to be somewhere else not together fighting against the Israel army. He should be there fighting together with the fighter.

Continue (17/01/2009) - It is reported that he Palestinans are now blaming the HAMAS for dragging the war. HAMAS refuses to have any truce as if it is fighting the enemy with some strong tanks. The blame on HAMAS is spreading. I actuality it was the HAMAS who started the problem while the PLO-Israel negotiation was almost successful. Now the HAMS is dragging all the Muslim countries into the war.

Are you the Head of Department ?

A good job is done not because of the job. It is done for human being. The target product for human persons. You may be an accountant. Perfection in your work would bring benefit to your organization which provide bread to feed your family. As the HOD he must be able to see the relationship between the work in his organization and the welfare of the mankind.

Your subordinates and you yourself have two things to take care off; work and family. Work must be done well so as not to hinder anything that has to be done the same day. After work he has to look after the family.

Problem occurs when the interest of the family and work comes into conflict. When personal matters are in conflict with official matters, work must come first. Death of a family members, marriages, and illnesses are family matters too. There are workers who gave attention to his work before the family matters. He did not leave his work and just sent check back home when his father passed away. Would you praise this kind of dedicated workers ?

Of course not all situations are identical or similar. teaching profession is not the same as police. As the HOD you can  make your own decision to demand your subordinates to put their interest completely on their job or at some crucial time would solve the problem so that they can attend to family matters. Remember all government departments provide special leave for husbands to take care of their wives after delivery.

The most important of the family members are the ill mother and father. Out of 1000 workers, may be one may be facing an acute problem of his ailing mother. And it may be you too. You may be ailing and critical condition. Your kids say they can't leave their job to help you in time of your need.

In some countries people do not find the word 'flex working hours' strange. The principle can always be applied during the right situation.

I met someone at the Proton service station who told me about how he took care of his father until his last breath. I asked him, "Do you feel very fulfilling ?" His answer was simple. "VERY". I have one friend by the name of Manan who took care of his father until his last breath and now looking after his mother. I am observing that God pays him well, very well indeed and in time to come too.

As the HOD please be very considerate and try to solve any problem faced by your subordinates.

Trengganu Here and There

I don't follow much on  Kuala Trengganu by-election. From time to time I glanced thru the headlines. "Pak Lah said let the people in Trengganu do the campaign and KL people should not go there" "Saya dah beritahu dia yang menjadi calon adalah risiko besar, tapi dia mahu juga..." "1 billion ringgit for ........if Barisan wins..."

Is Mahathir blaming Pak Lah again ? It was Najib who will be the next Prime Minister again who camped and did all the campaign. And Najib is Mahathir's choice. How durhaka UMNO members are to their good leader. I was taken aback when UMNO members called for Pak Lah to resign. They refuse to accept facts and turned their blind eyes to the reasons for the lost. They refused to learn fro Permatang Pauh and again did not heed to Pak Lah's advice.

People still like to talk of development as incentive to attract votes. Some see it as a bizarre thing, something that will chase them out of their land and handed to some wealthy persons. Development is wealth creation machine among a few cronies. The interesting part is that some developers are telling stories about who was in charge and who demanded for millions.

The report on poverty was not made by the opposition party. It was made by independent body. When the subject was raised by the  opposition, the Menteri Besar of Treangganu said, "Look, the day you were born the government only charge you one ringgit for rubella injection..." With billion of dollars people are thinking of projects because they see money rolling in. How many thought of job creation; jobs that will further enhance prolonged output. You don't want to distribute the money from your oil just like that, do you. You create jobs and pay with the money. Then you can eradicate poverty.

Tengku Razaleigh mentioned about the characteristic of sombong ( arrogance ) among the UMNO members. The old moto was Vote the Party Not the Person. Today the voters are saying '...dia tu sombong, bongkak dan angkuh..." The other day I still see this big time UMNO member who did not attend a meeting while the others were there. Bad character person never learn and never change. During the election period the sombong guy would minggle with the people and shook hands with everybody. Those ladies who never wear the head dress would be seen wearing one. Those who egularly wears coat now would wear baju Melayu, sarong and sleepers. Many people begin to see things.

Human being tend to see bad things than then the good things done. Good things like free medical treatment, education, Amanah Saham and many other things are covered by one or just two figures like Ghani Patail, Hamid Albar, Khairy, Mahathir and Musa. You can do  one thousand good deeds. It will be forgotten just by one mistake you accidently do. This is something that we all must learn. When any of these images went to Trengganu to campaign it was a grave mistakes. Pak Lah learned from it when he saw what had happened in Permatang Pauh.

Anwar may be bad. But when Ezzam went on to tarnish Anwar people would not say Ezzam is good and Anwar is bad. People may have said hat Anwar is bad and Ezzam should go to hell. I remember when one of my subbordinates came to see me telling the bad thing about her father, I shouted and chased her out "..anak durhaka...Pak hang yang bagi hang dapat keja di sini..." I am sure you would do the same. AND many people perceive simlar things in identical way.

I have never thought the opposition could take Trengganu with all the money poured. But it is something for people to ponder. WHY ?

TV intervied Toyol. Of all the persons TV chose it. Mahathir was interviewed too. Mahathir blamed the candidate not Najib because he does not want people to say that he cannot make right judgement. He thinks he hi God. He blames pak Lah for BN' losing many seats but refuse to blame Najib in the case of Trenggagu and Permatang Pauh.When Mahathir asked the Malays to sell their land and invest in saham, I already said he was crazy. When he accused Pak Lah for the lost in many seats, I already said he was crazy again. God prolongs Mahathir's life to make him suffers continuosly.

True the lost is negligible. BUT TO LOSE AN HONOR IS A BIG SHAME. To tell the truth, I am very scared when the next election comes. People are predicting that UMNO will be completely wiped out.

DON'T FALL A VICTIM

I have posted one article somewhere wriiten by one person sent to my former school's web page in Bahasa Malaysia about stealing your money thru internet. Recently I read in the local newspaper about many people fell prey and involved million of dollars lost to the cheaters.

There are all sort of internet scams and other schemes as well like the skim cepat kaya. The scheme cepat kaya I described before even involved senior government officers who run it. Now some of them are big shot but sorry I just don't respect them until now. This latest stuff's trick is very smart enough. You will be receiving an e-mail telling you that your bank account is not secured and you need to visit a page where the bank will set a new security. You may not suspect it is a scam. I got many of those and just ignore them.

AND the funny part is the bank just keep quite about it. The police should have informed the bank when the case was reported and the bank should take a quick action. The minimum the bank can do is to announce in all news papers and TV that the bank financial system is never been broken by any hacker.

The rate people are losing money thru banks is quite alarming. This include investment run by banks. Another new phenomena is robbing at the ATM machine; robbers will be waiting at the ATM machine rooms and rob victims at night. Cases have been reported to the police. I have been wondering why the police cannot catch the culprits by setting a trap. So crimes keep on happening. While in Singapore the invincible eyes are everywhere.

I will always say that electronic banking is never safe. And if a dishonest bank employee siphone your money the bank will not be responsible.

Be aware of internet scam. Don't fall a victim. If some offer you any money and free gifts, just tell yourself that here is nothing is for free. Nothing come easy.

People rob your ID, secret, credit card number etc sing internet. They can even erase all your data. When the government announce of EGovernment, I just laugh aloud.

CONCERNED PEOPLE

Some people working in TV channels are concerned about the plight of the poor people in this country. My wife saw one this morning. The TV showed 2  sets of people; one who claimed to be poor with an income of RM4400 and the other one who had to go and looked for fish in the local river to feed the family. The first one who claimed to be poor had to pay his car etc. The second one was living in a small pondok with several kids. At night when raining the children had to wake up and get the shelter.

The TV is telling us about the greedy person who does not thank God and never enough with any amount. I know of many people with income of less than RM400. or no fix earning. I can bet if you ask Khary about poor people you'll hear answers that you hate most to hear. Khairy never agreed to government's subsidy and effort to help the poor. A friend of mine told me at his kampong, peole involved with the rearing of praws only earn RM60 a month from the work. I think the real profit goes to the middle man.

After the TV show the next day the first to arrive was the military and one other person who immediately repaired the house. Then the school began to donate and plan for the children's education. I did not ask about the JKK and Kebajikan Masyarakat. I did not ask about the wakl rakyat. If the TV did not depict this poor man's plight, may be nobody still care to know. At least the military did their work. So was the volunteer who contribute for the shelter. You don't expect them to know. The Wakil Rakyat, he JKK, the Kebajikan Masyarakat, the Zakat people are suppose to know, not just stay foot in their cool room and enjoy life. The Wakil Rakyat may be seen only during the election time.

Even the school is bad enough. Schools should know the plight of it's students. Whenever there is a slow learner the school should investigate the background of the student, not just by asking question but to visit those kid's house. God will bless my teachers who always go to pupil's house whenever they did not come to school. Though most of them have retired, they are remembered by the students.

Whoever misuse the zakat's money will suffer severely. Let them go to the hottest and deepest hell. Let them suffer in this secular world. I curse them in the name of the earth and the sun, the galaxies and black hole and the sea of fire.

THE FUN OF SAME SEX MARRIAGE

What religion allows same sex marriage, free for all sex and having life partners without marriage ? This topic has been touched before.  What religion encourage changing sex partners between married couple ? In my mind it is the seed of equality and freedom. When a man marries another man there will be a sexual penetration. When a woman marries another woman, they will use something that will emulate the male phallus for sexual penetration too. Why same sex ? To most of us, we would not understand. Our mind could never comprehend it. To the progressive people of the West they might know and feel the joy and the fun of wife swapping, free sex and same sex marriage.

If it is not a teaching of any religion, then what religion is still left in the Western World ? Is religion is just a show or an opium ? People go to holy places just for a show ?

Sex shops sell toys for men and women. They have a place called glory holes where oral sex are done for a fee. There were drive in movies for XXX show. To the Westerners it is nothing strange. Neither do we hear comment from any churches or any religious officials. Those are considered as individual freedom.

In fact if you go to Holland even drug is legal. You will see people lining up to buy marijuana. Sex acts are done openly on beaches too in many places.

To most Westerners God is dead. Religion is dead. It is used for convenience in court when taking an oath, prayer during the time of death, and when a person is nearing death looking for some miracle. Or they still go to church at the same time doing wife swapping, free sex or married their love ones regardless of the sexes.

We need somebody to express his or her feeling of the fun of the same sex marriage.

Finally I realizw that all religion prohibit free sex. When a country allows gays and lesbian marriage the church and synagogue are losing contol of the masses. A MAN AND A WOMAN

Just because it does not coincide with our thinking it does not mean it is false. If you a re a boss you want to hear your subordinates to say their views parallel to your thinking. Many smart people know how to gain the favor of their boss. That would simplified the promotion too.

One topic that has been debated over the centuries is between man and woman. Who is more superior, smart and dominant ? Religious beliefs have been criticized when they are against our thinking. The fact that the word emancipation is not a Malay word means the concept of women docility does not belong to one racial group. Most ancient society throughout the world place women as a second class citizens.

The fact that women are different from men is very true. We are not talking of superiority in any form.At birth and many years later the physical appearance are not identical. One has a phallus and the other the vagina. One has breath and the other none.  On all other characteristics we still have to observe.

I have made several observations which may be wrong.

a.       1. Generally women are more neat in their work. I prefer a female clerk to male.In many other office work they really focus on their job.

b.      2.Mentally I don’t see much different between them. Women are very intelligentAnd smart and could analyzed things very well.

c.       3.Several wives never admit mistakes. They would insist they are always right. This is a result of low education not the characteristic itself. Or it cold be one.

d.      4 If I were to drive a car I would know the sex of the driver in front of me. Of course I had been wrong several time. When I looked back at the driver I would see a Haji or an Old specky man.

In term of arrogance, I see both arrogant male and female. Both can ponteng kerja. In businesses I found that women are more successful than most men.

The reasons why the Chinese and the Malays detest BN are not the same  and far apart. Karpal and Nik Aziz can never be in the same shoe or umbrella. Different Malays hate UMNO for different reasons. I asked many people and names people don't like to hear are

                                 - Manufacturing evidence

                                 - Lie

                                 - Arrogance

                                - Increase crime rate and drug addictions

                                - Blame game

                                - Ineffective government - sampah sarap, housing cheat, ah long etc

Making people suffer

                                - Privatization and cost public got to pay

                                - Favoring the wealthy and business community

As far as I am concern, the first word that I hate most is arrogance. Even many government officers and big business men are very arrogance. Big business men do not depend on people's vote. They can hire body guards and mafia to protect them. Politicians were at the mercy of the people. The police is free because they are almost autonomous. They even want to keep the DNA. I have been threatened before. How about you ? I asked several persons who said they have very uncomfortable experience with the police.

To tell the truth, I feel sorry for Pak Lah. He is a nice man. Mahathir's road show smeared Pak Lah too badly and people believe Mahathir forgetting what crime he has done to the Malay community by calling them names day in and day out on TV channel "Melayu tak kenang jasa....Melayu mudah lupa...." He disgraced the Malay race in the eyes of the world. Pak Lah was destroyed by Khairy who think he is a very smart person not knowing there are many many more smarter people in the country and who was associated in controlling several big businesses and even corruption. People don't talk for fear of court action but they wait for the voting day.

Check back all the policies during Mahathir's time. Open your eyes. One friend of mine supported Mahathir's call for Malays selling land to buy shares and turning agriculture land for industries and housing projects. I think many of you would agree to his idea. BUT I DON'T AT ALL. Mahathir even wanted to kill SAR, sent non-uniform police to mosques and Madarasah and kenduris to spy. People say he is brave. Yes he is. If he could he would change the time in the whole of USA into one time zone only. You call it smart ? He will even give the world the same time. You call that great ?

Today the government is trying it's best to make people happy like bringing down the fuel price, increase the pensioners income, try to please the Chinese and the Indians. We enjoy the free hospitalization, education and freedom to express ourselves. This freedom will not occur during Mahathir's time.

Let us all pray for the best. All government BN or otherwie will not take away our happiness. Let them destroy the devil and the evil spirit in themselves.

When the government of USA wants to close the torture center, The innocent Malaysians who did not do any crime to the country is still in prison under ISA for selling things things to Pakistan.

One other thing to note. The recent statement by Tengku Ahmad Rithaudeen was challenged by the Putera and Puteri UMNO. That is another proof of the arrogance. TAR is not a senile person. He is an UMNO veteran with much experience. He said let the young people do the learning not the politicking. Is he wrong ? I had been thinking hard before about the UMNO's program of recruiting school children into an UMNO's corp and oversea students to join the UMNO Club. TAR knows what he is talking about.

Talking and running a nation are two different things. As I have mentioned before about Chat Gila and Harun Gila who could talk very well on politics similar to Puteri or Putera UMNO. I have known someone who cant read and write but talked so well like Khairy. Look at Perhimpunan UMNO's talkers. TAR has this message behind his mind.

Managing a nation is managing human beings of all sort. You have to understand human behavior, character and nature. You have to have a wide knowledge of economy, sciences and politics. You have to have the ability to analyze things deeply. You have to be patient. You have to have a good and honest heart. You have to be sensitive to the feelings of the people and much more. TAR knows what he is talking about.

When the Chinese think the MCA betrayed them, the Malays think UMNO has betrayed them as well.

AMERICAN ECONOMY

I am not an  economist. My analysis is wild but it is something to ponder about. I have been to the United States many time and each time I made my observation on Americans behavior, policy and economy. Many policies were made base of lobby. During the election period several bodies would lobby by donating funds to influence American policy. Many of us know this. As I visited the United States I noticed many shop houses in super marker either closed down or being taken over by the Chinese. Unemployed people could be found everywhere. The Americans were not happy because many companies were operating outside the country to cut cost leaving them jobless. Japanese and Chinese products poured in at cheap price.

The worse that really hit USA is the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. The military lobby for the war and war equipments. Bush and many Anglo Saxon Americans give more importance to honor and superiority of the American race at any cost. Military spending drain away the money otherwise could be used for job creation and domestic economc activities. I think the Republican, the war mongers, is solely to be blamed for the ill USA economy. In the recent literature it was said that billion of dollars went to Israel annually.

What factories went dead and what need to close down ? If you observe carefully these are the competitive industries like the auto and electronic. The Americans could not compete with the Chinese and the Japanese, now the Koreans. Compare to American General Motors, Toyota is used worldwide.

Obama will be having a very tough time indeed. To leave Iraq and cut the expenditure to 1/4 will not be easy. Bush caused the problem and Obama has to struggle hard. The only solution is to quit Iraq as quickly s possible like what had been done in Vietnam, The same would go to Afghanistan. Rather than waging war on Islam, the American should seek peace and  go for mutual understanding and soft persuasion. In short the American should not be paranoid. Never think that the North Korean or Iran is going to attack them.

When American's economy is sick the other countries tend to follow the Americans, some just taking opportunity to slash workers even though they are not American companies. This is called the economic manipulation by some powerful persons, not really base on the market situation. Greedy people have no moral. But at the moment Malaysia seems to compute well on how to combat the domino effect of  economic downfalls.

SO THEY TALK ABOUT MALAYSIAN SOCCER

Listen to me, a non-sport man who knows little about soccer. Does it make sense. There are a few keywords that need to be scrutinized; BRAIN, BRAWN, SPEED, ENERGY, SKILL and TACTIC. It starts with the way we think. Let me give one simple example about a foreign coach who was finally sacked because he chased out one VIP who smoked in dressing room when talking to players. We could straight away see how differ the Malaysian and  European thinking is. The ability to think and analyzed in a systematic manner would only choose the best and do the best. There is no such thing as 'tidak apa'. Wide knowledge and exposure is vital. The coach and all officers should use their brain to the best.

One disadvantage of Southeast Asian players is that they are short and small. Small and shorties can never climb to any be world standard. The combination of height, muscle, speed and agility is essential. The rare specimen like Maradona might be short but he has all the others. If you compare the members of English soccer teams, you will see Manchester United has people with skill, speed, agility, strength and quickness over the other team. You observe how fast Manchester United built an attack.

Everything being equal then tactic and strategy plays the part. A wrong tactic and strategy can cause grave mistake. It is just like playing a game of chess; make one mistake and you are dead. The choice of position and game layout is just not for fun. It is all up to your intention. Are you playing for defense ? Attacking game ? You have to look at your opponent and the ability and speed of your players. Many like to let the opponent attacking their side to pull all the players to their sides. A quick attacked by a fast attacker could end in a goal. Everyone knows that Greece was not the best team but could win the world champion once. It is nothing more than a great tactic.

Malaysian players are not as tough as the Koreans and not as tall as the Middle Eastern Players. None can run as fast as any Manchester United player. Who are you blaming ? We don't feed nutritious food only when you are at 20. It has to begin at the early age. When you trace the kids with skill you should start supplying foods that can built bone and body structure. I heard the Japanese did this.

But the worst thing you ever know is when corruptions are creeping in. These players don't go to look for money. Money come to look for them and smartly move in without anybody's knowledge. We know when we look at the way they play the game. People whose job is to buy the players are special people. It is a kind of profession. When corruptions have become a culture and a common practice, you will not find it strange any more. Even a coach can be corrupted.

I can tell you that there is no future for your kids to play soccer. He can do it until his age is about 35, the most. Some soccer kids know this. If they have no other job then they already see their bleak future. Many missed their classes and failed their examnation. They might not be smart but they know how think of their future once they got married. Yet I saw a soccer player purchasing a two hundred thousand dollar car. I had a mind full of questions. I started to see money matters blogging his mind.

Soccer is not just a game to play. It is a topic on life and human welfare and future. It is a philosophy of economy of mankind and a nation. It creates a chain reaction of businesses. It generates income and hence domestic product and Hitler used it as a political tool.

THE POLICE AND THE SCAM

Surely the account transfer scam has been reported to the police and banks concern. What happen then ? The scams continues. Public were told not to fall victims. But all the way I have been wondering as if the origin of the web page concerned cannot be traced. What about the account number of the transfer. Surely the bank can trace the receipient and could take action to freeze them. The police could easily traced the culprits thru the account number. To a layman like me, I would say that I smell something fishy going round. My nose would smell the bank and the police and would be trying to figure out what they are doing.

With the police expertise , knowledge and efficiency I am sure the scam case is not difficult. Bank had said it is not it is not responsible for the missing money. Does it mean it trusts it's staffs ? I have read that even bank manager scoop bank's money away. How about the police ? Don't know. But I remember once upon a time 2 persons came to see me asking me to open up '4 nombor ekor' online server, giving me the password. I told them that I did not know. "If I am an  expert I would have been a rich man by now..." They might bluff me by saying they were from police. You see, just because someone bluffed me, I had bad perception on certain profession.

The police has a computer forensic expert. Certainly they can dissect and see the whole operation unless somebody is playing foul.

Please banks and police, do something about it and do it honestly to bring back people's confidence.

SHAHRIR SAMAD AND PRICE

I bet in Shahrir's mind everything is cheap by now. Shahril called the business community and appealed to them to lower prices down. Everyone nodded their heads and showed sign of agreement. Shahrir was happy. Newpapers display him potraying cheaper goods. Shahril thinks he is a smart and effective Minister. Is it ? What is reality ? Fish that costs RM2.00 - RM4.00 per kilo is now about RM15.00. Cendol which used to be 50 cents is now RM2.80. Some other things has risen by RM5.00 per pack. Try to ask Shahrir to use his imagination to the utmost on how to deal with with scrupulous business people. He may not mention what some of us are thinking about. If you voice it out he will challenged you. WHY ? Because he is rich. He does not know how the ordinary people suffer.

People are lazy to work and earn money ? There are youths who want to work and want to earn. But jobs are filled with foreigners. The love of government towards business communities is due to the believe that without these people our GDP will drop and economic activities will slow down. That's why I said that the boundary of imagination is limited. True thinking outside it will be very hard but that is the job of the elected representative, not just to talk and show their rhetoric.

The Communist country mix communism with capitalism nowadays. That does not mean the capitalist cannot adopt communist policy in planning some commune work to combat with monopoly. Malaysia does not have law against any form of monopoly but instead encourage and support it. Monopoly and any form of it should be banned. Commune activities in agriculture and food productions should be introduced. Of course there will be no ownership but many people who have been very poor could be gathered up, trained and run the commune job. Will Shahril say that this is nonsense and better pay for the high price rather than looking into the non-capitalistic economic system.

Even if the DAP or PAS rule the country they will reject any form of socialist or communist practice, even a small part of it. What survive is only the co-operative practices but that's take a different turn; the aim and purposes deviate from the real one.

Somebody must inform Shahrir that prices do not come down as he thinks they were.

WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT PERAK AND WHAT I THINK

UMNO and Barisan Nasional's euphoria in getting back Perak should be pondered well. I followed some TV discussions giving me impression that UMNO won back Perak because rakyat like them. And more interesting when they said the new Menterii Besar is a person with caliber because he is a PHd holder. The Menteri Besar was trying to gain popularity by his maiden speech in the TV.

I think the rakyat who voted for Pakatan Rakyat were very angry with the next government. How long can UMNO play with the racial card, and that is what UMNO will be doing in Perak, pointing out that DAP does not concern with the Malay race and the religion of Islam. They are saying the PR Menteri Besar had been the puppet of DAP. But the rakyat will decide whether DAP is racial or not, whether BN plays dirty job or not. If BN fails the next election will be worse. UMNO and MCA will be losing more seats. On the other hand the rakyat can sway back to BN.

But you must know that not all PHds has quality because even the SPM or PMR holder can get one. Believe me if I say someone studying in USA who cannot speak and write English can come back with a degree. The new Menteri Besar spoke so well and sound everything could be done easily. He is in Perak not in Kelantan or Trengganu.

The best way is to do by election. Do you think the 2 PKR persons under BPR's investigation will go to jail ? I say NO. I believe NO. May be Najib will make sure they don't go to jail to avoid by-election. If racial cards fail the voters will not vote for UMNO in the area affected. Voters who have hated UMNO will continue to do so and do not believe what they think are lies.

I believe in the concept of popular government. Even if PR rules the country base on UMNO's defection, it will not be a popular government because people vote for UMNO , not PR. Any government that is not a popular government is not a stable. Underground enemies will increase and spread.

Let's all see what will be happening in Perak. The cold war will continue vigorously all will be using racial cards. The strength of DAP in Perak is not a new story. The Menteri Besar will be facing a very stiff and tough time. I don't think so he will be able to fulfill what he said. My view is not because I oppose him, but on thinking that he forgets where he is.

06/02/2009-Today I read in Newspaper about the voters protested at Hee's office. She has to keep running around. May be her life is at stake too. It just has to take one mad guy to feel extremely angry with her and willing to face any consequence. Already the voters are accusing BN as robbers. As I said this is Perak, not Kelantan or Trengganu. And I noticed the government is already deploying police reserve units. The DAP will have to be very calm especially in the next DUN session. Hee will be one of the main targets because she is a Chinese. She has been called as a betrayer of the Chinese community.

The question is will the strategy that will be used by BN in Perak can buy the heart of the voters ? Even pouring billion of dollars to the Chinese community will not removed their hatred. Even majority of the Malays now cannot be bought with money. It could be true if I were to say that BN get the state but losing more and more support in Perak.

To ensure the popular government concept let the voters vote again.

I read a blog which  blamed the Sultan for the changed of government in Perak. In my opinion a decision made was based on the fact as seen. What was seen was PKR majority has been reduced by one who fled to UMNO, 3 quit to be independent. The Sultan should not say whether the resignation of 2 PKR members are valid or otherwise. The election commission simply refused to listen to the speaker. If the DAP wants to shoot anybody, shoot the person in EC. I think the EC is bias. The 2 PKR men who signed the letter are not fit to be people's representatives. I think these people are without principles and hence no moral. I cannot guess the decision of the DAP member who quit DAP. My wild guess is that she is bought over by some mean. May be she does not like Ngeh and Ngah. Ngeh and Ngah should also sue the TV when the media accused them of being high handed and mastering all the show. Nizar was said to be a puppet. UMNO accused Perak DAP to be a racist. DAP on the other hand has been accusing UMNO as a racist. 

So PKR and DAP has to wait for the next election to throw Perak government out altogether.

08/02/2009 - Today I read a newspaper headline "Withdraw Karpal's citizenship", "ISA for those who rude against the Sultan..." It is very interesting indeed. I remember what the British wrote about the Malays "....the Malays...stay on trees...brown skin...emotional people..." We detest the British for calling us name and mentioning a Malay race as emotional. But the  headline very well depicts that. Who can forget Dr. M intention to put away the Sultan and made this nation a Republic. But worst when some political party called the Sultan as animal. Who said what about Dr. M and the party called the Sultan animal. There were no headline. No mention of ISA.

Now 2 governments in Perak ? Remember the history of Johor ? Which one binds ? In my opinion the BN government binds. Do you think the rakyat is happy with BN government ? As I have said before, This is not Trengganu. This is Perak.

A NEW POLITICAL PARTY TACTIC

Some smart guys were thinking hard to find reasons why some candidates won and some lose. Now they come to conclusion that people don't vote for party but for moral. This mean arrogance, high handedness, self interest and haughtiness has no place in becoming a leader. To put in another term people don't vote for the black rob. Knowing this political parties call on all their men to wear white. So the new tactic will be trying to show to the people that members of the party are all good and clean, trustworthy, honest and caring. This imply that there will be more actors will be displaying the white side of the rob. There will be more hypocrites around.

People must be aware and truly know the person whom they are going to cast their votes. People must look at the proxy status of the candidate. 

Many Malays are saying the Chinese voters are smarter. It is not easy to cheat them by any act of hypocracy. They see thru the rob that one is wearing. Even the Malay voters can smell it too by tracing the history of political development and behavior. We will be surprise to know that even a low educated person can make wise judgment. 

You must know that while one man was talking loudly about corruption, another man under the same roof is demanding for money. What I am saying is not a fitnah or wild accusation. Nobody has to believe it. You can fool  people all the time but you can't fool all people all the time.
