HOUSE FOR BUMIPUTERA

I started to walk again. It is a new route from Seri Malaysia across to Jalan Bakar Bata and ahead towards the junction of Jalan Kancut. At the junction I turned left to Jalan Telok Wan Jah until the round about where I took Jalan Stadium until I reached the starting point. It took me about 30 minutes to do so.

The banner below was located along the Jalan Telok Wanjah. I didn't take notice of the price. Days before I was talking to the tenant of my wife's house about the skyrocketing price of a new house. The average price was RM500,000 and a single storey terrace house would fetch about RM200,000. I narrated to him of why and how people are paying high price for a house.

There were two acts that pushed the price up. Put in a simple term; the act which enable non-citizen to buy the properties in this country and the amendment to the Land Acquisition Act which enables developers to chase anyone out to acquire the land they want. And of course the whole setup and system that made politicians helpless but getting richer.

Even the UMNO and PERKASA people can't afford to buy one. Those having 4 or 5 kids and living in the abode inherited by the fore-fathers will not hold long. The kids will need their own home in 15 to 20 years time. Are you a PERKASA or UMNO diehard ? Then bring the price of the house down. Show your RM500 to the developer. Show your Perkasa's badge to them. Show the picture of Ibrahim Ali.
