There are many others out there having the same experience which I have had before. Each one made me very confused and mum. They were all about money. I knew that it is not easy to make a case out of it. The cases are described as below :-

1. The latest happening when one organization asked me to install a finger print software. I was quite reluctant to supply to it because the organization is quite far from my home town. I charged 2.5 K for the hardware and the software. I was very surprise when someone asked me ," Untuk saya tak ada apa kah ? ( Is there nothing for me)". I understand the dilemma of many contractors and bussiness people. Contractors with a million dollar project were facing bigger problems. If they held on to their principals of not offerings then they will lost the project and forego the whole income. For one or two hundred dollars you can give as a sedekah not thinking it as a return for any favor. But for million of dollars you can't consider it as sedeqah. I talked to my wife about it and was considering of uninstalled the software. I told my other friends about the matter and tried to compute the possibility of any evidence. There was none. No wonder the habits of demanding money went on and on.

2. We complained of white ants attacking the school. Finally one  company came, drilled some wholes and then went away. We waited day after day, months after months. Nobody came to continue with the job. Due to the workload we forget about it for a long time. Later we thought the Government did not make any payment that caused the company to abandon the project. I continued writing the letter asking about the white ant. A few months later one officer rang me up saying the project was done and payment already made. That gave me a big surprise. Further questions let me know that 7 million ringgit were paid to one company for 7 schools. I contacted the other schools too. It was confirmed that no white ant job was done.

3. The football field in my school was to be replaced with a new grass. One company came and later went away. The work was not done. I wrote to JKR enquiring about the project. There was no reply. Before going to USA for further study I asked my wife to investigate about it; whether any payment made to anybody. My wife informed me that the payment has been made by JKR. A few months later some people found my school file about the football field in the public 'tong sampah'. I was very confused. My clerk did not tell me that her keys were stolen. They went around looking for bomohs to get back the keys. many years later I realized the file was stolen. I suspected somebody who signed the payment wanted to erase the whole thing about the field. After more than 20 years later I saw the JKR office caught fire. Again someone there wanted to destroy the evidence ? Then I think of the road and highway projects which go spoil just after a few weeks of usage. I was so sure the specifications were not followed. Then I made noise and complained to the Ministry of Education. The answer I get "Schools Principal are not qualified to certify about jobs done. Only engineers can do it. So payments could be made without the Principals signature." Is that not a shit ? Do you think we have to be engineer to certify whether a certain job is done ?

4. The same argument was given by the Ministry when I complained about the new building which did not follow the specifications. Certainly the JKR engineers are not happy to hear what I said. But that was what happen.

5. Recently I was told of one computer company which had contracts with the Ministry and then went off without following the contracts.

The evil is with the powerful people. Their friends are with them. They know the laymen could not afford lawyers. But I believe that God will not let them go scotsfree even they perform the Haj. They experience a brutal death. Their souls will suffer. Will they be using the Quaran again to say they are not evil and innocent all the way ?

VIETNAM'S VISIT

THIS is my second trip to Ho Chin Min city or Saigon. The last time I went almost the whole road was occupied by motorcyclists, thousands of them wearing caps. This year 2008. I found all motorcyclists wear helmets and the number of cars increase. Almost 94% are Toyotas, around 40% are taxis. E-bikes are quite popular among school children and the price is much lower than what is sold in Malaysia. Not all junctions are fixed with traffic lights. More than 70% are without lights. Vehicles manage to cruise themselves thru. You can find bicycles in the middle of the roads together with the motorbikes. Crossing the road has not been a problem for anybody including the bicycle. A  cyclist from one the left side of the road can just cycle thru without looking lefy, right or backward. There may be 100 motorcycles coming thru the road. Nobody knocks him. If you don't believe me just go to Saigon and learn something that the Malaysian does not have. The other day my father in law was knocked dead by a car. The car owner has just to report the motorbike passed him without any warning. One person in our group commented "If they can survive the American bombs, surviving on the road is just nothing to them."

The Vietnamese are not backward people. They think smart and work hard for a living. The wartime pro-American Vietnamese who ran away when the Vietcong took over now came back to cause hardship to the people. They drive the price of land up. They brought back their wealth and use their evil way to influence the top ranking Communists.

The Commune system continue to fight against those who want to buy their land. Our young tour leader, a University Graduate, expressed his intelligent view in a subtle manner which takes meticulous analysis to understand him. "Corruption can change people's mind even in a Communist country." That's his message he was trying to convey and  I grasped it.

Most Vietnamese do not want to forget the Americans who came thousands of miles ways to kill the peace loving people. Bombs were dropped just to kill the innocent, destroying holly places and murdering the small  kids.

The Vietnamese had pride in winning the war. Visitors were taken to visit one of the former war zones and tell the stories of how they fought the sophisticated American. They do not forget those who supported the Americans during those wars. They didn't tell us that even the Malaysians were employed to hunt the Guerilla in the tunnel.

Visiting a commune in one small island was quite interesting. The island is planted with fruits of all kinds, fish are reared, and they have enough food to eat. But they decide to open it for tourism. Visitors are taken to sampan's ride along the nipah's narrow waterways, entertained with songs and food.

Like any other countries peddlers would come to sell various items at your hotels and follow your bus to restaurants. You can bargain. If they can give you, they will give you the price you bargain for. Ladies bags were offered at US6 for 6 pcs. My wife bargained for 7 pcs and I told her to ask for 8 pieces. The moment my wife said 7, they straight away depart with it. But the next day they would sell you 8 pcs for USD 10.

When you visit Vietnam, don't see things with your eyes only. You should use your thought and heart to see the nation.

THE SUPERIOR RACE

There has been a tendency for people think that he is superior to others and his race is the most superior in the world. They made a study of human skulls and classify them into various categories, measuring he amount of brain it can accomodates. Classification by skin color from the darkest to the most fair was less scientific but it is still adopted by many. And a few went to their historical culture. Today the White Anglo Saxon, the Jews and the people of the Middle Kingdom are seen as the superior race.

The White Anglo Saxon from England differs from the Americans in that the former is very cunning, much more cunning than the Americans. They are smarter at cheating in a subtle ways. The Americans are more honest and straight forward but will go to any extend to impose their supremacy upon others. They would create enemies, labeled them and convinced their thought to the world. So when the Vietnamese and the Iraqis mentioned "They came thousand of miles to destroy holly places, drop bombs on the innocent people....", I think they are right.

Though among the normal citizens the concept of the Superior Race has faded, the fact that when it remains in the mind of political leaders, the situation is very dangerous.

The history of conquest, black and white relationship in America, the Aryan conquest, Hitler and the World war, imperialism were all traced from the state of the mind 'superiority'.

When people were murdered they would always give reasons and justifications for the murder. Other people's lives are of no value, death is more peaceful, less problem, no hardship and no more sufferings. This doctrine is only applied to the other race.

There is no harm to be a master or superior as long as one does not cause pain to other human beings. Being superior does not mean one can bully weaker people. Doctrines such as 'The best defence is to attack and attack by surprise' is a barbaric doctrine. As such the security zones are created outside the countries. Dick Chiney is just one of the racists who find pleasure in killing people.

Superior race should set good example, help the weaker people and the citizen of the world. It is not to go around and exhibit their strong muscles.

HANDLING NOISE IN A DISASTER COMMUNICATION WITH A SIMPLE RADIO

Disaster communication is best when using a radio wave. It is cheap, small, less required energy, and applicable even in a heavily crowded area with a high level of noise. The equipment consist of a single transistor and a few component and a headphone will do all the work. Mounted on a small PC board the electronic components using a couple of batteries sends out a radio wave called a carrier. This carrier can be interrupted on and off within a given period to form characters or numbers. One of the system characters is called Morse Codes. In a noisy environment a headphone is used to read the incoming and outgoing signal. During an emergency there is a usually big crowd sometimes stuffed in a small area. Meetings, discussions and the victims are held at the same place. Those produce a loud noise. In his situation voice communication is almost impossible even using a radio wave.

Satellite communication using digital machines is very convenient but expensive. Individuals cannot own them.

Disaster communication courses and training should also focused on the constructions of cheap equipment like the oscillators. The understanding of the design is more important than the ready made circuit diagrams. Even when circuit diagrams are not available the oscillators could be constructed using the salvage radio parts. And the participants are taught morse codes. The advantage of the morse codes over the digital mode is that morse could be comprehend just by listening. It is better than voice because it handles the noise situation very well.

A little investment in a solar gadget that can be used to charge the battery is handy. A 3 - 6 volts battery will do.

In Acheh Tsunami disaster 2 meter communication did not do well due to the repeater system. High frequency radios were used for requesting aids like doctors, nurses, medicines, blankets and food. ORARI did it's job very well in organising, issuing of licences and manpower allocation.

CAPITALISING ON PEOPLE'S WEAKNESS

When my wife answered an advertisment by CIMB for a certain kind of investment the word Takaful was not mentioned. She went to CIMB bank and met one young Malay Officer. The officer convinced her like a charm to invest in the scheme. He said the investment would give a handsome return higher than the ASB. My wife quickly signed up a form. The amount of 10K was immediately transfred from her account to the said investment account. About 2 weeks later she received a statement, cutting RM250 for a certain fund. The word Takaful was mentioned and the word insurance was found too. I read through and did not find anything about the said investment. I smell something and asked my wife to withdraw immediately. I took her to CIMB. The officer convinced her that Takaful was just a free gift. The investment would bring her sure profit higher than ASB. Believing the officer, my wife refused to follow my persuasion.

About 1 1/2 years later while I was at my old school, I heard a teacher told a parent "Insurace paid was just only one dollar...what to claim.." The insurance  is the Takaful. Takaful had made itself available in one of the Minister's mind forcing school children to buy insurance from the company. On the same day when I reached home I found the CIMB's letter with a statement from Takaful that the value of money has gone down from RM10,000 to about  RM8400. I scolded my wife for not listening to me. I asked her to look at UMNO's Amanah Saham Kedah, the Tabung Ekonomi Islam, Tabung Haji and even Bank Bumputera.

Finally she decided to withdraw in spite of the lost of more than 1K. She went to see the bank officer who again told her not to withdraw from the scheme. But she had made up her mind and not to trust any Takaful or Hajful or Islamaful again. We believe, true or not, that they use religion as a disguise to swindle the honest kampong people. They are good in taking but not good at other things. They would use the Minister to support them like the Korperasi Bersatu which invaded  other Ministries to impose rules for forming the Korporasi. I am talking about the school Koperasi. The sole aim was to ensure their organization live forever, the Maktab kerjasama survive and they can work until they die.

Many took the opportunity of making money by various projects during the time of Dr. Mahathir. As I quote before, one of them is Indah Water. Indah Water made agreement with the government to rob people. And the government approved the enactment. You just go and study about the bacteria from human waste in detail, about the size of the septic tanks approved by the Town Council, about the standard of treatment plants, and about the death rate or diseases due to the bad environment caused by the human waste. Just do that in detail, you will understand what I mean. Please refer to one of my articles and letters to Indah Water.

Today it is not easy to recognize robbers and cheaters. Just be very very careful, even with banks. I put it this way "..if zakat's money do not go to the proper place how about the other money ?..." The person in charge of Zakat said "I am just following an order..". The ulamas have been telling us to fear God more than man. This man fears man but not God. Do not forget even Tabung Haji's money were having major problem before.

Words like Al-Rahnu, Al-Bait etc. should not be allowed to hypnotize you. Beware of people dress like the ulama going from house to house asking for donations to build mosques. At one time children were use to sell Quranic verses. The smaller cheaters are not protected by law but the bigger ones have lawyers and government's protection.

One friend of mine said, if you want to save just trust ASB even if the dividend is low.

aTALES I HEARD

1. My radio friend Dato' Tan bin Hussein told me a story about one man in Muar Johor who would make kenduri at his house evey Friday night but only invited the trishaw peddlers, beggars and other poor people. He didn't seem to invite his neighbors. But they did understand  the man's intention. Do find many people like that ?

2. Another friend of mine by the name of Khoo told me that one day he went for a lunch. An elderly lady came to sell newspaper to him. He had to reject it because he already got the newspaper. The lady asked Khoo for the bowl of noodle Khoo was eating. Khoo ordered one for her. When Khoo made the order the seller suspect something and asked Khoo for whom the noodle was ordered. Khoo mentioned the elderly newspaper lady. The seller gave back the money to Khoo saying she would not sell to her for any amount of money. She explained that the lady had told everybody before that her mee was saltish and no good to eat.

3. In one PIBG's meeting there was an argument. One parent said,"Don't argue with me. I have PHD......." The other parents just shook their head. Would you shook your head if you were there ? I do .The next time you encounter with similar situation ask him a simple question which you think he might not know. I would say "If you have PHD and you know so much, tell use the different between a yagi and a log periodic".

4. This is not a tale but but the old story my friend told me when I went for my eye-check up this morning (27/12/2008). he was my classmate. We were not bright students and were put in a double credit sciences. At the end of the year we had to take photograph for the school magazine. The year was 1965. During the photo session the whole class put on spectacles. One of  our classmates brought glasses he borrowed from his father's shop. At that tie I remember only 3 persons including me wore spectacles. A few weeks later our Principal, Mr N.A Ogle came to our class with a cane. As usual we stood up to wish him.  With a loud voice he commanded us not to sit down. He moved around the classroom and looking at our faces. We were puzzle and scared as well. Finally he said, "I see only  persons were spectacles, what about the others ? " He looked at one boy and asked, "Where is your glass ?" "No glass sir. I don't wear glass." He went in front of the class and showed us he picture ,."But here I see everybody has glass on...". His face was serious and looked furious. One student could not stand and burst into laugher. AND our Principal too could not stand and laughed too. So that day we had another photograph taken. When I became a teacher, I knew then kids were cheeky. Kids are kids.

5. Many years ago there was a man in Alor Setar by the name Harun Gila. Harun would wear black clothing with a red head dress . He was warded as a mental patience before. Harun was not a violence person. People would give food and at times we saw people sitting with him and talking. They said Harun talked very well , did not sound like a mad man. He did not seem to suffer from mental sickness . Harun talked over several subject matters including politics.

We used to hear politicians talk in Parliament and in media. Many a time they talked nonsense and contradicting themselves. Even the high ranking government officers said things lower than the Harun Gila. One politician said "If we are stupid, we wouldn't be here". The guys with uniform does not even know the meaning of national threat. It was u fortunate that Harun who get the title of Harun Gila left us to meet the God.

There was another person by the name of Chat Gila. Chat Gila would carry with him an umbrella and beg . The Malays, Indian and Chinese all would give him 5 or 10 cents with smiles on their faces because they Chat brought them good luck. Giving to Chat would give you instant satisfaction and the feeling of happiness. Chat was usually begging at the Bukit Mertajam railway station.

Chat was very nationalist. He fought for independent in his own way and shouted for Merdeka most of the time just before the first Merdeka day. He had wanted the late Tunku Abdul Rahman to shave his head at the Merdeka stadium on the independent day. Indeed the Tunku did that. Chat Gila was well respected.

According to people who live around his house, Chat was a gentle person with his children. He did not show any gila behaviour at home. The money he get were given to other children and the lefy over for the family.

At time we come to think that we can learn something from the gila person rather than the normal men.

6. One officer from Puspakom was transfered from KL to Alor Setar. They said he built up a 100,000 dollar bungalow and bought another two houses soewhere else. The villagaes said he is not from a rich family. His parent has no property. And then they talk of a gambling place where it  had be raided by Bukit Aman before. When Bukit Aman came there was no people at large. Only machines were left there. They were talking of curruptions and of one Youth politiians too. They talked about Tsunami victims and how the contractors came in.

WARNING TO MARRIED MEN

Do you like to flirt online ? A few my ham radio friends like to flirt using yahoo messenger or skype. The fun of flirting is that sometimes you can see the naked body of your cyber spouse but you have to show yours too. But we must know that internet users are not only people like you but also by disparate ladies looking for husbands or people who want to sell their bodies. The later pose no danger to you. After you pay you are free. They will move to the next person.

Flirting could be very dangerous whether with local or girls outside your country. For local ladies you usually make date first and see whether she is pretty or not. You may want to keep her as your next wife or mistress. But expressing your love to girls outside your country may bring you to disaster. She may not be a young girl. She may be ugly but she uses other people's pix to cheat you. AND ONE nice day when you wake up you hear somebody knocks at your door and opens to find your cyber lady hugging you in front of your wife.

Local or international, if the lady is disparate she will do anything to stay with you. There is a chance of a big battle between your wife and everybody else in the house. Your wife may be prettier than your cyber lady.

There are several divorces and marriage with cyber husband and wife. That the lady did not appear in front of the house. Only the flirting which lead to divorce.

If you get a cyber girl like the one on the right picture it is worth everything. I am sure you will leave your wife for her. Actually beneath the dreass your wife may be better and perform better than this lady.

I AM ALREADY SENILE

My mother, sister and my wife have good memory of names of people and relatives. I don't. My memory fades very rapidly. I forget names. I forget faces. And I forget man other things. People say I am sombong. I can't even remember my old girl friend. Yesterday I went to a kenduri with my wife. She told me my former girlfriend said to her, "Man tak kenal saya ( Man does not recognize me)." I don't even recall which one. I lost too many things because I don't remember where I put them.

In spite of the disease and senility I still strive to live a normal life. I still develop computer software, doing the writing work as what I am doing now though my command of English is weak, move about, drive cars, listening to morse codes and exploring knowledge. If I still can do it why not the younger people whom  I find easily accept defeat and refuse to fight challenges and conquer difficulty.

For me life s too short. Most people have too little time left. I have so much to do within the short period of remaining life. I have several old friends who used to be very active in our similar hobby who cease to pursue the hobby any more. Now I understand why they are not active any more. It is due to the mental worn out; decay. These people are above 74. At 62 I already felt the changes.

But somehow after almost 30 years 2 classmates came back to see me. One came to send his son to my school and the came to ask for financial assistance. Immediately I called them their names; Tahril Bernawi and Azmi Nayan. I don't know how on earth I forget the others but could remember these two guys.

Senility can be a hazard to our kids and probably to many people. Many wish these old men should go faster. I talked to one old Chinese man who told me that he had to run away from home and worked at one of the sundry shop in our village. And elderly people prefer to go to the Old Folks Home.

Now I live with my wife. If I die first she will suffer if none of the kids are too busy to accommodate her. Now I have ample strength to push her wheel chair and provide support whenever she needs to climb ladders. I take her to lunch and dinner outside. If she dies first I think I can still manage myself and probably will find another wife for companionship. I think a 62 year old man should marry a young wife of 25 years old. I would advise a young girl to marry a very rich old man. The quicker the man dies the better for the girl. Old man easily dies if he is sexually extra excited.

However I am not scared of being senile. That's part of life.

CHANGING THE TRADITION

People go for innovation. It is not confined to technological but also to administrative procedure. Innovative ideas will be rewarded. One of the great innovations in the country is the Identity Card. My number from 3341212 is changed to 401010029991 which contain meaningful information of sex, state and date of birth. Another the payment of various utility and other bills at only one point like the post office. This is a great innovation.

A new head of department always looking for something new to make changes to leave a certain landmark. One of the Prime Misters of Malaysia changes the time zone of the whole country to have one common time.

Changes and innovation do not end at administrative procedures and technology but also in the social behavior. Some pattern of  social organization and structure like shift from village type of housing to taman, is the result of development and greed.

One of the greatest social innovation of all time is A MAN MARRIES A MAN and A WOMAN MARRIES A WOMAN. The same sex marriage and the same sexual intercourse  Gays and Lesbians are coming to this country and there are arguments from the Malaysians for the same sex marriage.  The number is growing. There are also innovation in sex gadgets . I had had female students of  mines who are lesbians and using sex gadgets. They are not uncommon these days. Exchange of spouses for sex  is also happening here. In  the West it is a common phenomena. Sex is something considered a freedom and innovations are on progress. Even a political figure like Palin was offered to act in Blue Movie.

In Malaysia you can also find innovation in religion. There are many. One of the most debated is Islam Hadari. Each day we are hearing voices that call for changes in Islam.

As far as I am concern changes and innovations are not vital for all aspects of life. Invention and other technological innovations are welcome . The make life easier for mankind. They shrink the world and provide more comforts. Yet they do not come all clean without the side effects. Technology can destroy the world, kill more people quickly, process and distribute more dangerous drugs, change the social pattern of human beings, open ways to sexual freedom and a few others.

While the West is putting away their culture and tradition the Eastern people are struggling to maintain their culture and practices. The institution of marriage, the languages, marriage and death and religious practices. These seem to be faded from the younger generations.

We can't change rules of law on cheaters, murderers, and others. Even when the authority  turned blind on some undesired activities, the rate of crimes would go on the rise. We can make the law and rules tighter and more strict but not to relax them and favor the criminals and wrongdoers.

In schools even a simple innovation like cutting big trees are not called for. Trees took years to grow but will take only 20 to 30 minutes to be destroyed.

For a social or administrative innovations we have to weigh them very heavily, doing a very deep analysis on the consequences of the changes. Once it is done it is very hard or impossible to undo it. Some changes are very costly. When they fails nobody wants to admit them.

Fasten your seat belt

1. Fasten your seatbelts so that no one will die in case of your car accidence. We the RIMV people are more concern with the seatbelt rather than the speedy buses on the highway and state road. There is no death due to bus and other heavy vehicle accidence. We know buses are running at high speed everyday on the highway but they post no danger to lives.

2. Leave your kids at home alone if you must take your car with you to visit your parent or going back for your Hari Raya if you have extra kids. Putting up 5 kids in a car is overloading and there is no seatbelt's protection. Leaving your extra kids alone is safer tan bringing them along without the seatbelts and overloading. Overloading means more people than the seatbelts.

WHY ZAID GET SACKED FROM UMNO

This is one of the examples of how irrational people made judgment. Zaid was seen to be in the opposition political camp. Hence a conclusion was made on Zaid's intention. Zaid was sacked not because he went to PKR's camp but because of the poor mentality of the people. The same thinking resulted in the birth of the title 'The Kris Man' and making some people so arrogance and haughty. Similarly they like to be called 'the Tuan'. 'The Tuan who only knows the airconditioning rooms and talk whatever he feels like talking, not knowing the plight of the people whose traditional land is being taken over, of kids taking drugs, of prostitutions due to poverty, of high price of milk and other foodstuffs.

People there do not like Zaid because he is against ISA. ISA, like a gun, is not dangerous by itself. It is just like any other weapon. To the Americans weapons are dangerous when they fall in the hands of terrorists and criminals. ISA is dangerous when it is in the hand of the police and leaders with hollow vision. On GOD's name ISA had been abused many time. ISA has become  a political tool.

Zaid said that he is only a small man. True indeed. Even a big man like the Priminister was being attacked left and right by the same party man. Similar kind of thinking that does not stop some people from asking money from contractors, buying votes and cheat the citizens with the highest order. When money were poorly managed and business were done in a play like manner, poor market get the blame. Amanah Saham Kedah went down to less than 40 cents.

They said Pak Lah was sleeping. In reality many more were sleeping. They don't know what's coming next. ATAS

THERE IT GOES AGAIN - DAMANSARA LAND SLIDE

Environmentalist and non political people like us have been shouting words about greed. They are using racial issues to for political gain. Houses were built under the name of development and sold at a very high price, even picking up millions for a single bungalow on top of a hill. Business people buy the politicians or threaten them with 'no voting'. When they get rich they do not help the poor. I know of many poor Chinese, Malays and Indians working very hard like slaves, borrowing money from Ah Long to run small business.

Do you think they are concern ? You just look at their faces carefully on the TV and analyze the features. Making hill top houses are everywhere now. Who make money  ? Tell us who make money ? Who can afford to buy a million dollar house  ? Then they sell to foreigners. The government enacted laws to allow foreigners to buy land and houses in Malaysia. They call it investment.

In my previous article I wrote about New Zealand and other developed countries where pasture land is vast and houses and supermarkets are not as many s we have here. Believe me, I had said before to my friends people living on hills cleared for housing are not safe. Time will tell.

When environmentalist spoke against deforestation Dr Mahathir banged them and the West. And I heard people saying Dr Mahathtir is a genius. Remember 'Harun Gila' and "Chat Gila' ? May be they talk more sense. The engineers use integration and differentiation and linier regression to compute the danger, the laymen use only a simple common sense. Even the soft win and air can carve on strong stones, the soft water can bring the earth down. Scientists say land form is natural. The stupid laymen like us say God creates hills and mountain with reasons for the benefits of human beings. In short term we see them for water catchment and a place to go when big flood comes.

They rob the water catchment area for money. Businessmen and politicians worked hands in hands. While in Sabah it has been reported that the police officer worked hand in hand with business people. Before this happenings there were noise of UIA and the kayu balak. It goes on and on. It will never end because human greed is there. ATAS

TOYOL

Have you ever heard of Toyol ? I was told that Toyol with L is a small animal that is used to steal money without being seen. Toyol minus L is large and also steal money. The small Toyol, they said, is brought back from Mecca. It only steals 50 dollar notes. It can slip thru small holes. I do not believe in one but stories say it is true. It exists. I just believe in the big Toyol. The big Toyol does not have any feeling of guilt at all. It looks like a human being but behave like a dog. It barks at it's boss or owner, like to play with brooms and sometimes shows it's haughtiness. While the small Toyol hides from people and so far people don't see one, The big one shows  pride when playing with brooms and siphoning money.

Studying the skull of the big Toyol, we can know the type of brain it has. The brain is distorted, has no sense of value with virtue, red seen as green and only dishonesty lingering the whole body structure. It is a special specie that does not have many senses. It does not know what is the value of virtue. Yet it offers itself to be the leader of human and other dogs.

Toyol is not a ghost. The Chinese says ‘nang pu ti nang, kui pu ti kui’ ( man not a man, ghost not a ghost) . That is the reason why it has no shame. If the big Toyol is in my ship I would throw it far into the sea of fire and let it get burned vey hard. The captain of the present ship where the Toyol likes to lure should have casted this kind of specie far and out as far as the black hole. Pack her with lots of broom. It has the guts to say that broom is the best way to make people work. The ship could sink just because of specie like this one still in there. Instead the ship captain casted the wrong guy out.

We hope reptiles like poisonous snakes can recognize Toyols ; big or small. Let these reptiles bite all the Toyols who like to prey on people's money to hell.

THE TOYOL UPDATE - Big Toyol said under him there was no approval for hillside constructions. The documents said there were. Will somebody go back to school where Toyol went to. I am sure the Toyol like it will give problem to the school. It even twisted the fact of temple destruction by saying 'Sammy Veloo ordered the destruction...'  The Indians pray so that the Toyol will be put at the hottest place in hell with plenty of ratle snakes and big mice that will eat the flesh bit by bit. The the flesh grows again the rat will bite again on and on. If any other Indians other than the Malaysians, they would have already dig the head with a hand drill. And the worst of all was he broght down Barisan Nasional in Selangor. Then he blamed Pak Lah.

CAR THEFTS AND THE POLICE

iIf you run a police force and you got daily report of car thefts in a certain location daily what would you do ? Any stupid person will say the problem can be solved easily by the police force, very easily. Then there will be bad person who will accuse the detective concern plays the part too. If you know someone stole 10 million dollars what are you going to do  ? Bring him to law ? Threaten him if he would depart one million for your pocket ? Shoot him down and keep the money quietly ?

Criminals are smart nowadays. They would counter attack you by suing you to court if you can’t prove they robbed  even though you see them robbing.

If you are honest and run a police force you should go for a law called the Right to Hire and Fire. To fire a person you just need to say ‘You are fired’ verbally.  You just tell the detective ‘If you can’t get the thief by a week you will be fired’. What do you think will happen ? In no time car stealing will end. Believe me. You and I know how the crimes can be erased.

When you are stationed to spy on the theft, you want to know who is the thief but not to catch him. Then you trail him, study his gang, approach him when he is alone and do your work to get some dirty money. Can’t you do that ? ‘No. We don’t catch the thief because we want to do further investigation to see who else are involved and in what syndicate.”

During the Japanese occupation in Alor Setar heads of people were hanged up at the market place. Those were heads of thieves. During those days you can sleep with doors and windows open and put your belongings anywhere without being stolen. Babaric laws ? Yes, it was. But it gave peace to the public.

Some police force do work that I support very much. When they chase the robbers they would shoot to kill if they are fired at. You may not like it. But I say that cut short everything; police are not accused of having shared with robbers, no need to go to court, no need to feed them in jail.

We don’t have to earn extra income illegally. Spend what we earn wisely. If we work as police officers we make sure we work honestly. Can’t we solve similar crimes happening at the same place ? If the trap by the local police does not work because the criminals recognized them, then Bukit Aman can always come down to set the trap. The police personnel should always be transfered  from time to time or asked to leave the force if they are ineffective.

The increase rate of crimes should not be swept under the carpet .

THE GOVERNMENT AND THE BUSINESSMEN

Look at who is more powerful the government or PLUS, developer or government ? You hear the Cabinet Minister shouting at the rakyat ‘..The government has to pay compensation to so and so’.\ What is our law maker doing ? When agreements made with contractors , developers or concessioners they must be in favor of the government. Look at the agreement the banks or any other business organizations made with the ordinary people. There is always ‘price may change without prior notice’. The law makers must make sure there is a clause which give power to the government in cancelling the approve project without any given reason. Take it or leave it. Give them to the takers who are willing to take risks.

The same thing applies to the power of the Head of the country who can nullify any agreement or enactments made without any given reason . Of course the government has to be fair to all.

Even the Menteri Besar of Selangor said there are many legal implications involve. If the wordings of the agreement is made wisely, the contractors or developers will have to heed by any order by the government.

Otherwise public will ask ‘What is the power of the Prime Minister ? “ People are already laughing at the government for fearing PLUS or developers. If the law makers are not aware then how come one UMNO member said ‘If we are stupid, we wouldn’t be here’ ? Do you call them  smart ?

Unless someone has vested interest in certain projects, he will go about to ensure the private companies have stronger muscle than the government. I think someone has that interest; if not politicians , it is the officer in charge. If you study court cases you’ll find at least of one case where a government officer offered sex service of his wife to several men that finally lead to his wife’s death.

Look at the case of Indah Water which charge the school a big sum of money monthly for work it did not do. When I was working I refused to pay the bill but the Education department paid. I cursed the department and send the big 4 letter word to Indah water too. Do not forget Indah Water was formed during Mahathir’s era.

The reason why citizens are not protected from a certain scrupulous business community is that either the law maker is stupid, people with vested interest or the power of money is controlling the corrupted persons.

THE SAMSENG

There are many categories of samseng. The lowest of all is the kampong samseng, one or two individuals who think they are invincible and they are feared by the kampong folks. In Alor Setar there were a few group before but one of the talked about samseng was call Bakar Karan. Many old samsengs are now becoming old men and would stay in the coffee shop chatting with fellow friends.

The highest category do not go and bully people. They know law and have lawyers. They are being protected. They run from illegal activities like gambling to pushing drugs. In Europe and United States they are called Mafia. They run organized crime. Can you try to guess who give them protection ? How ? Some bloggers had exposed this before.

In between the there are a range of sameseng from the small time with small weapons to those who own sub-machine guns. People talked of cop-samseng partnerships in various illegal activities. But talks remain as talks which most of the time are untrue.

Samsengs can wear uniform too. They may go and threatened people and even do the killings. They asked you to strip naked, laughed at your naked body and may even harm you hard. One of the errors of Saddam Hussein was he turned his police force into a samseng group. The political opponents escaped to USA and planned to out him from there.

People try to avoid danger by not involving themselves in anything political or crminal. They don't try to stop robbery or any fight on the street. Even though they know the killer, they won't want to report for fear of revenge.

The most fearful thing is when the high profile samseng or mafia is in politics and have a share in running a nation. They will turn the country into drug heaven, enact rules to extract money from the public, cheat people in anything they can lay their hands on. You see them as politicians not as mafia.

Once upon a time the World looked upon America as Samseng of the world, bullying small countries and dictating things to them.

The concept of People's Power arises to fight against the mafia activities of the ruling party. The only way to overhaul the whole nation is to choose a new ruling party which must be acertained as clean and sincere.

Malaysia ? So far so good. The government has been responsive to people's need. At one point under one Prime Minister most people tend to think Mafia was running the country. ATAS

My Students

God gives me the time I needed to see my students come back to me to say "Salam cikgu...remember you caned me ?". I never regret punishing my students. True everyone makes mistakes. The canned students were not bad students. "I don't caned you, but the devil in you which provoked you to make mistakes ".But I really love them as my own kids. While I was strict with rules and would severely punished students for big mistakes, I want to make sure they will be successful. Teachers were instructed to make the students passed their exam.

There is nothing more rewarding when I know my students are doing well today. Doing well does not necessarily be rich and wealthy. The ability to survive and live like many normal person is more important.

My students were great. They kept the school compound clean, very clean indeed. They kept the toilets and canteen clean and tidy until we were awarded with several prices. Parents came to see me thanking for making their kid changed in behavior . “Not me.The teachers changed them and they change themselves.” I would tell the parents.

When I opened the alumni section in the school’s web page, I found they are more successful than what I had hoped. Everyday I would open www.smtjs.net to see the alumni section. I want to know where they are and what they do. I want my eyes close well when I die. Just imagine if you hear your students are heading a gang group, being fugitives, peddling drugs and mostly end up  as criminals. You will blame yourself for their failures. It is our failures/

Norlela and Zaini are the most I have seen. Zaini is a successful contractor, marrying Norlela, who runs Secret Receiper. Sofirudman would come to my house from time to time. Sofi is a lecturer in Jitra’s Community College. I still advise him till today, not because he needs one but it is the habit of a teachers who likes to give advice. Several become a ham radio operators and had talked back to me.

To me and many other teachers, we don’t need anything from our students. We can’t recognize them now even though we see them. When a student walks to his teacher and say “Salam cikgu, sihat ka…I am your former student…..”That is already a big reward. We would tell everybody “Hey, today I met my old student…”

When I was a Principal, my former teacher came to see me for various reasons. I treated them very well and showed my deepest respects to them. I was happy when they called me my name as “Man…” One teacher wanted to send his son to my school. I spoke to the Ministry of Education about it, just to make thing easy to my former teacher. One teacher said to me,”Man igat saya lagi nu…(you can still remember me)”.

We always knew the sincerity of our teachers. Some students even expressed their gratitude to some of the teachers whom they say had treated them like her own children.

One of my grateful students. I pray for his well being and success.

THE SOMBONG PROTON

Have you ever met with a sombong salesman ? More than 15 years ago I had wanted to buy a Proton Tiara. After getting approval from the Government I went to one Tiara dealer. I expressed my keenest in buying a Tiara with the Government loan. The person said 'No we don't accept Government loan....' I was very furious and walked out. Then she called me saying Ok to it. But I just ignored her. I said to myself that one day Proton will go bankrupt. Proton didn't go bankrupt but Tiara went kaput. The shop closed down. Yesterday 17/12/2008 I went to Proton again looking for a salesman I booked a SAGA. The man was on leave. I asked the lady at the counter whether I could test to put my wheel chair inside the saga's boot. "CANNOT. You have to see your saleman."

No wonder people are cursing Proton. When Trengganu's Government rejected Proton for expensive maintenance, I said that UMNO was not patriotic and only find excuses. But when Perak's government rejected Proton for the same reason of  expensive maintenance, I began to believe it. I saw a banner that Proton gave an offer for servicing. To me that offer price was already considered expensive.

Car salesman can be sombong. But Proton can't afford to have even ONE. If it has only ONE. What if Proton has plenty of them ? I told my wife that if people has RM60,000 to buy a car, they will choose VIOS rather than Persona or Gen 2. People like me who already begin to dislike Proton Sombong will later on be throwing curse. The Malays believe after 44 curses it will be true. Remember MAS last time ? Many cursed MAS. I did too because I asked the officer to pass a cassette containing Malay  songs to my son who was going to USA for study. We just remember the cassette after he went in thru the gate. I felt very bad indeed. The curse finally fell on it. Had not because of government’s bail out, MAS would have gone bankrupt.

Proton especially the Malay officers never learn like some politicians too. They forgot that the company survives by the customers and the politician survive by the people.

Any Proton people reading this article ? If you agree with the Sombong attitude of the staffs, I can only say sorry and pray for your luck. If you don’t agree then let the boss up there knows about the possible effect on Proton if Proton continue to hire the sombong staffs.

Now let’s us wait how long more Proton will survive ?

I NEED A CREDIT CARD NOT THE INSURANCE

I need a credit card badly facilitate my travel especially to the United States. In USA you need a credit card to be able to rent a car. During my working days and when air fares was cheap I travelled to the continent almost once in every two years. When I went alone I would just go to Los Angeles and travelled by bus to various places. Going places within the same county is reasonably cheap. To go from Buena Park where I always stay to the city of Los Angeles would cost about USD2.50. But to take a Grey Hound bus for a distance somewhat like from Alor Setar to Kuala Lumpur would cost me approximately RM200.00. Renting a car is more convenient if we need to travel far and wide.

In Malaysia credit card is essential to book a cheap flight. MAS and Air Asia have been  offering cheap flight to several destinations but without the card it is very difficult for those without.

Applying for credit card is a nightmare for an unemployed. You have to have  a job. I tried to apply for one but had always been rejected. I went to my bank the CIMB which told me that I need to have the minimum of RM40K before it can issue me with one. My account was never stable at or above 40K. My effort over several years to get a credit card was in vain.

However the same bank had been sending me letters and brochures on insurance plan. At first I received with one that requires the age limit below 51. I am already above 60. Later I received the one with age requirement below 70. A few months later I received somewhat like an insurance card already but I need to submit the form before it can take effects.

I was asking myself why the persistence. I need the credit card but CIMB said I am not qualified. On the other hand the insurance people are pursuing me for the plan. That made me start to compute why all the persistence.

Collecting RM200 from my bank account monthly is for sure because I received a monthly pension. If there are 2000 pensioners having an account with the bank, it will be able to collect 200 X 2000 ringgit per month and multiply by 12 per year. That is a big sum. How many out of the 2000 guys will be getting seriously sick  in each month or year ? I would estimate there might be the maximum of 10 persons. Assume all the 10 are having operation of some sort at the cost of 20K each. That will come about 200K per year. You can compute the still remaining profit the institution has. Millions of free money. Money makes money. They are not interested in your welfare or health. They are hunting for your money.

But at least they want to pay. If insurance like Takaful, do you think they want to pay ? To most, money collected would go to pay their big fat salaries. They enjoy the luxuries with money collected from ordinary people.

The credit card guy may think they can't sue you if you don't have money. They can't get your pension fund to pay your loan either.

MONEY MONEY MONEY .....Selling wife and daughter, selling countries and land, selling your honor and yourself...selling everything icluding drugs.... small robbers, big robbers, small cons and big cons....ATAS

Government Servants

A very great number of Government Servants are honest, doing their duties very well without political bias.Public will be very satisfied if duties are performed as required. In spite of the good work done yet some professions are being attacked by the public for accepting money ie corruptions or abusing of power.

A good worker gives more than what is required. A teacher, for instant, conducted free tuition after class, coming to school during holidaysand week end to conduct free tutorials, helping the schools in many forms. There are several teachers who rewarded teir students with big amount of money just to motivate them. There is a trend now for schools to run an extra class at night before the national exam.

Other workers extend their working hours just to finish their jobs and to help the public. Others would go to work during the week end.

So far we do not encounter with any government servant who would ask us "Are you UMNO, PASS or DAP." The treatments given are equal.

Hospital gives free or cheap medicine which would cost a patient tenth of dolars for a two dolar 5 types of 3 moths medicines. It provides an almost free operation. To have an eye operation at a private clinic we have to pay at least RM1800 for each eye and we get it almost free at the government hospital. Many government doctors are excelent and very competent. And doctors sacrifice most. I have seen doctors attending to hundres of patiences without lunch.

Good workers are good by nature. Put them in any profession private or public. At time they are being pressured by the institutions they are in to carry out tasks which are against their concience, but they have to carry them out.

One of the most tarnished professions is the police. Some people are spreading false information about the officers. Public is observing the truth from the newspapers, TV, blogs and daily conversations. The act of the igh ranking officer is the TV is observed by the whole nation. Rahim was associated with Mahathir and Anwar. The whole scenario has to be squashed by honest and sincere work. Now Puspakom is getting bad image too. Officers are said to have big houses, and buying properties everywhere.

Certainly it is unfair for the police and Puspakom to bear people's perception just because a few persons in the profession. We hope with the new law on corruption and judicial system Malaysian Civil Service will be highly respected by the world.
