THE GOOD TOYOL |
|
Winning an election BN cant afford to take risk Why Najib must not follow Mahathir's path Yes BN wins the Bye-Election Najib Oh Najib A layman and a professor MY LAST POLITICAL TOPIC The Tale of Two Bukits Men and Materials The New Cabinet Not For The People The Two Malaysians Who Should Be Thankful Election Expenditure A Malay and Malays Somali Pirates |
I read that that PKNS said the body wanted to give a watch worth about RM156,000 to Toyol but the later refused it. What a good man he is. What a good organization PKNS is. Before this when Toyol was accused of accepting about RM100,000 from the same body, he said that was from te profit made. In other words he accepted it. Wow PKNS is so very kind to give away over RM200,000 as a gift. I remember reading the definition of corruption. Head of Departments were not allowed to accept any gift even after the opening ceremonies which soveniers were usually given. Then people began to change for books. PKNS can give money to individual. A state Minister cannot give cows to people for Muslim sacrifice. Do you see how the ACA works ? People of Selangor could be more kind by giving more money to Toyol. How much more ? If it is given by people it is not a crime. It is merely an appreciation to the kindness of a Menteri Besar. One blogger mentioned the word thick skin. Thick skin is a person who does not have any feeling of shamefullness. Dr M mentigoned several time in the media about choosing corrupt leaders to lead the nation. Can you guess what Dr M has in mind ? Dr. M is not a small man who cannot analyze who are corrupts and who are not. If people were to give me a 150,000 ringgit watch, I would prefer to exchange if for Proton V6 or 5 units of Produa Kancil. My neighbor who had just passed away only need rm700 for her funeral and kenduri arwah. While she died in poverty and without money, many others are throwing out money, putting them into people's account hoping for a favor. |

WINNING AN ELECTION |
||
Winning an election means different things to different people. Winning even just by one vote is good enough as long as it is winning. To a more concern party winning must follow by a certain task of analyzing to investigate the popularity and to forecast the future and the actions to be made immediately. Assume in one area there are 1000 Malays, 500 Indians and 500 Chinese. Two candidates are fielded an UMNO and a PAS. In the final count UMNO won 1200 and PAS 800 votes. What we have been looking at right now UMNO and BN would be rejoicing the victory with the various speeches, how popular they are. But looking the the number it highly probable hat 800 PAS votes would have come from the Malays. Al Chinese, Indians and 200 Malays vote for the candidate. The Chinese will say "You are there because we put you there." The Indians will say the same thing. AND THE candidate will ignore the Chinese, the Indians and the Malays and probably would start thinking how to amass wealth. Assuming again the same situation happens throughout the nation in the GE. BN will say landslide victory. BN is very strong. If 80% of the Malays reject UMNO it is not a small number. Truly UMNO is irrelevant to the Malays. If I were to be an UMNO leader I would not be able to sleep the whole year thinking about it. This simple analysis is just for you to think. With the two elections in Peninsular Malaysia, Bukit Selambau is more tricky and challenging. BN will bring the issues of PKR wanting to do away with Sultans, lies and failed to topple the government and Anwar Ibrahim. If the Indians are smart they would go on with the issue of missing Siva and the treatment of sick Hindraft leader under ISA detention. The missing Siva will play around the credibility of the Prime Minister Najib and the ISA guy about the cruelty of the government against the Indians. That is not talking about Toyo and temple demolition yet. Bukit Gantang gave the advantage to BN for early start in the campaign. Zamry has gone on the campaign in the area many time before leaving a very short time for the opposition. If the Indians go for the same reason not to vote BN and the Chinese want revenge against Hee, and the Malays don't buy Zamry, then anything can happen. Popular government is very important for stability. It is not the landslide of all the seats but landslides by the count of the votes. Remember if every 5000 seats with a majority of 1, it is not a popular government even though it is a absolute landslide. Unpopular government with leaders who plundered national wealth and suppressed the people will have to face bitter challenges by the populace as what has been happening in several African countries. |
